What is concrete coring?+
Coring uses a hollow diamond barrel to cut a clean, round hole straight through concrete, block, or asphalt. It removes a cylindrical core and leaves a smooth-walled hole, rather than breaking the surrounding concrete the way a hammer drill does.

Do you scan before you core?+
Yes. We run GPR to locate rebar, post-tension cables, and conduit, then place the hole where it clears them. Cutting a post-tension cable is expensive and dangerous, and scanning first is how we avoid it.
How do you control water and dust?+
We wet core and recover the slurry with vacuum control, so silica dust stays down and we do not leave water running across a finished floor.
What size holes can you core?+
From small anchor and dowel holes up to large-diameter penetrations for waste lines and ducting. Tell us the diameter and the depth and we will confirm it on the quote.
